Hundreds of settlers storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque
In another development, on Sunday, hundreds of Israeli settlers storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Palestinian media reported that hundreds of settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, under heavy guard by the occupation forces. The occupation forces intensified their presence at the doors of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and imposed severe restrictions on Palestinian entry to it and prevented them from entering the Bab Al-Rahma chapel.
In a statement today, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the settlers’ incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque. It stressed that it comes within the framework of the occupation’s attempts to control the mosque and Judaize it.
The Foreign Ministry indicated that the international community’s complete ignoring of what the Palestinian people are subjected to and its sanctities makes it a collaborator not only with the occupation, but also with its double standards that have come to dominate the international community.
The Ministry stressed that the occupation will not be able to obliterate the Arab Palestinian identity of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and its sanctities due to the steadfastness of the Jerusalemites.
