Israeli occupation forces raze two houses east of Al-Khalil

Occupied Al-Quds – The Israeli forces today razed two Palestinian houses in a-Baqa’a village, east of the southern occupied West Bank city of  Al-Kalil (Hebron), according to WAFA  correspondent.

He said that Israeli forces escorted a bulldozer into the area, where the heavy machinery tore down a three-story under-construction house belonging to Azzam Jaber and his family.

The soldiers also demolished the walls and foundations of another house that the Jaber family was building at the site of a former house torn down in July 2022.

The area has become a frequent target of settler attacks, home and property demolitions, agricultural land razing as a means to forcibly displace the indigenous Palestinian inhabitants and make room for colonial settlement expansion.

The occupation forces detain 23 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank

In another development, the Israeli occupation forces detained 23 Palestinians in several areas of the occupied West Bank.

The occupation forces stormed the towns of Sur Baher and Beit Daqu in occupied Al- Quds, Nilin in Ramallah, Surif, Al-Dhahiriya and Yatta in Al-Khalil, Al-Kheder, Tuqu’ and Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem, and detained 23 Palestinians according to Palestinian media outlets.

Yesterday, the occupation forces also detained 19 Palestinians in the occupied  West Bank.

Dozens of settlers storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque

In another development, the Israeli settlers on Wednesday renewed the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Wafa News Agency reported that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa from the Al-Maghariba Gate, and carried out provocative tours, concentrated in the eastern part of it, under heavy protection from the occupation forces, whose members stormed the Al-Qibli prayer hall in the mosque.

The Palestinian national forces are calling on the Palestinians to keep steadfast and resist the Israeli settlers’ raids on Al-Aqsa, especially after the minister in the occupation government, Itamar Ben Gvir, announced today that he will storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque again.

On January 3rd, Ben Gvir stormed into Al-Aqsa and his provocative behavior received widespread international condemnation and warnings of the danger of the occupation’s attempts to change the historical and legal situation of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and its sanctities.
