Israeli occupation forces kill two Palestinians in Jenin camp

On December 1st, two Palestinian youths were killed, a third was wounded, and four others were arrested, during the Israeli occupation forces’ raid on the city and refugee camp of Jenin in the West Bank.

Palestinian Wafa Agency stated that the occupation forces stormed into the Jenin camp and al-Hadafarea, deployed snipers on the roofs of a number of houses and buildings, and assaulted the Palestinians with live bullets, which resulted in the death of two young men, Naim Al-Zubaidi, 27, and Muhammad Ayman Al-Saadi, 26, and a third was moderately wounded.

The occupation forces arrested two young men after they surrounded their homes in the al-Hadaf area of Jenin and other two young men after hitting their motorcycle in Jenin camp.

A massive march was launched in front of Ibn Sina Hospital, in which the participants carried the bodies of the two martyrs and roamed the streets of Jenin and its camp, chanting slogans condemning the crimes of the occupation and demanding international protection for the Palestinian people.

The national forces in Jenin announced a total strike in mourning of the two martyrs and in condemnation of  the ongoing crimes of the occupation.

With the rise of the two martyrs, Al-Zubaidi and Al-Saadi, the death toll since the beginning of this year has risen to 210, including 158 martyrs in the West Bank and 52 martyrs in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian National Council condemned the Israeli occupation’s crime of killing two Palestinian youths, during its raid this morning on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp in the West Bank.

The Council said in a statement: “The storming of Palestinian cities and camps, the practice of killings and the destruction of property, is an integral part of the series of daily criminal violations committed by the occupation forces against the Palestinians.”

The Council added that these crimes would not have escalated had it not been for the continued silence about them, and the continuation of double standards and selective implementation of international law.

The Council called on the international community to take immediate action and put pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop its crimes and attacks, to provide international protection for the Palestinians and to open an international investigation into the crimes committed by its forces.

On other hand, the Israeli occupation forces demolished two commercial establishments in the town of Qalandiya, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.

The head of Qalandia village council, Walid al-Yakshi, told WAFA news agency that the occupation forces stormed the town and demolished two commercial establishments.

Yesterday, the occupation forces demolished 10 agricultural facilities in the village of Aqraba, south of Nablus, in the West Bank.
