Occupation Forces Destroy More Palestinian Houses In West Bank

Occupation Forceshave demolished more Palestinian houses after storming a southern West Bank refugee camp near the city of al-Khalil (Hebron).

Bulldozers under the protection of Israeli military forces entered the Arrub refugee camp and demolished two houses in the area.

Clashes broke out at the scene between Israeli occupation troops and local youths, who threw stones as the soldiers fired tear gas canisters and rubber-coated steel bullets.

Several residents of al-Arrub suffered excessive tear gas inhalation, witnesses were cited as saying in local press reports.

Additionally, three Palestinians were injured by rubber-coated steel bullets.

Al-Arrub is one of 19 refugee camps in the occupied West Bank, within which live about a quarter of the 771,000 registered refugees in the territory.

The Israeli occupiers rarely grant Palestinians permits to build in the West Bank, including in East al-Quds.

The Israelis have demolished at least 27,000 Palestinian homes and structures since occupying the West Bank in 1967, according to a local organization called the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions.

The Tel Aviv regime demolished over 500 Palestinian structures throughout the US-brokered negotiations between the Zionist entity and the Palestinian Authority, according to a PLO statement on Tuesday.

“As a result, 878 persons were forcibly displaced,” the statement said.

Occupation Israeli forces conduct invasion drills

Israeli occupation military forces have conducted intensive exercises that simulate a ground invasion of southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, a report says.

The Zionist entity suffered heavy losses during its past military aggression against southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip as a result of the intense volley of rockets launched in response to Israeli aerial and artillery attacks on the two areas.

Israel’s much publicized “Iron Dome” missile system proved incapable of intercepting many of the incoming rockets fired by Palestinian resistance forces in response to Israeli military aggression.
