Occupation forces demolish 869 homes and facilities and uproot 6,507 fruit bearing trees during the last year

Occupied Jerusalem,(ST)-The Israeli occupation forces demolished 869 homes and facilities and uprooted 6507 fruit trees in the West Bank last year.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority stated in a report today, carried by Wafa Agency, that the total number of demolitions carried out by the occupation forces against Palestinian establishments and homes reached 869, most of them concentrated in the cities of Jerusalem, Hebron and Tubas, where the demolition rate exceeded 65 percent of the total demolitions in the West Bank.

The report pointed out that the occupation authorities delivered notices to demolish 817 homes and facilities in the West Bank.

The report indicated that the occupation forces and settlers escalated their attacks on Palestinian agricultural lands to displace and seize Palestinians, indicating that they uprooted 6507 fruit trees, most of them olive and grape trees.
