Israel continued today to bomb high rise buildings in the Gaza Strip, apartments and cars causing the high number of dead and wounded among the civilian population.

Later reports said 12-year-old Abdul Rahman Talal Abu al-Jidyan and Abdul Rahim Mustafa Madhoun were also killed in the same attack on the high rise in Beit Lahiya.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas instructed Palestine’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, to consider calling for a meeting of the UN Security Council to bring a halt to the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, said Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for Abbas.

He said “the horrific silence of the international community is what encourages Israel to continue with its crimes against our people.”
