Israeli occupation forces besiege villages of Janba and Al Markaz, south of Hebron

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST): the Israeli occupation forces surrounded on Tuesday the villages of Janba and Al Markaz in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

The coordinator of the popular and national committees to resist the wall and settlements south of Hebron, Ratib al-Jabour, told Wafa News Agency that, the occupation forces distributed notices asking the residents not to move ,enter or exit the two villages and threatened them with imposing penalties on those who did not comply with this order“.

This arbitrary measure prevents the separated families from communicating in the villages of Masafer Yatta and other areas, where Israeli occupation forces have vowed to detain or seize any vehicle moving in the area, obstruct pedestrians, interrogate them and impose a fine on them.

In order to harass the residents of Masafer Yatta villages, which the occupation threatens to displace, the occupation forces conduct military maneuvers increasing roadblocks along the roads leading to these villages.
