Occupation forces arrest 5 Palestinians from the families of prisoners released from Gilboa prison

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): At dawn today, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the towns of Araba and Bir al-Basha in the city of Jenin in the West Bank, and arrested five from the families of the six Palestinian prisoners who  gained their freedom through the “freedom” tunnel they dug with their own hands in the Gilboa detention camp.

Palestinian media reported that the occupation forces stormed the house of the freed prisoner Mahmoud Ardah, destroyed its contents and arrested his three brothers, Basema, Raed and Muhammad.

They also stormed the home of the freed prisoner Yaqoub al-Qaderi in the town of Bir al-Basha and arrested his brother Youssef and his cousin Raafat Gwadra.

The occupation prevented the families of the liberated prisoners from speaking with the media or using the phones.

The occupation is trying to intimidate the families of the six prisoners as a means of putting pressure on them, days after they broke their chains in one of its most fortified prisons.
