Occupation forces and settlers raze lands in Al-Khalil and Salfit

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST)- Israeli occupation forces today and settler gangs attacked Palestinian lands in the towns of Beit Ula and Tarqumiya, northwest of the city of  Al-Khalil (Hebron), and Wadi Qana, west of Salfit in the occupied West Bank, bulldozing areas of them and burning fruit trees.

Suleiman Jaafra, a member of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee in the town of Tarqumiya, told Wafa News Agency that settlers burned about 300 dunums of land planted with olive and almond trees in the vicinity of two settlements perched on the town, while they bulldozed other areas of the town to expand a settlement outpost.

The occupation forces bulldozed about 2.5 dunums in the town of Beit Ula, and olive trees were uprooted and agricultural facilities were destroyed  he added.

Settlers also razed areas of Wadi Qana lands to place a fence along a settlement road to separate the southern area, the Ain al-Bassa spring, and the resource from the surroundings of the valley, to establish a buffer zone that the occupation allows only settlers to enter, and prohibits it from Palestinians.
