Occupation forces and settlers attack Palestinians in several West Bank areas

 Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Three Palestinians were injured, 12 others were detained today, and several facilities and homes were demolished during Israeli occupation forces’ raids on various parts of the occupied West Bank.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces stationed in Al-Arroub camp opened fire at a young man, after a number of Palestinians gathered following a traffic accident, which led to his serious injury in the chest.

Large number of occupation forces stormed into the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, closed its entrances and prevented entering and leaving it, and spread out in several neighborhoods amidst the firing of sound bombs and toxic gas, and beat two young men severely, causing fractures and bruises to them, while seizing one of the houses and turning it into a military barracks.

The occupation forces detained 12 Palestinians during their raids on the eastern area of ​​Qalqilya, the towns of Yamoun and Anin in Jenin, Safa and Al-Lubban Al-Gharbi in Ramallah, Talfit and Burin, and the Balata and Jabal Al-Shamali areas in Nablus, while they stormed into the towns of Al-Zawiya west of Salfit, Kardala in the northern Jordan Valley, and Beit Ummar in Al-Khalil (Hebron) with a number of bulldozers, and demolished a tourist facility, two homes, and a water well, while they seized two mobile homes “caravans” in the village of Bardala in the Jordan Valley.

Israeli occupation forces demolish a house south of Aqsa Mosque

The occupation forces, accompanied by several bulldozers, raided a house in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and demolished it.

The Al-Quds Governorate reported that the house also contains the headquarters of the Al-Bustan Center and the Sumoud Tent, which is the place where the residents of the Al-Bustan neighborhood have gathered for years to defend their homes.

The governorate indicated that since October 7, 2023, the occupation forces have demolished 360 homes and facilities in Al-Quds, as part of a systematic policy aimed at displacing Palestinians and depriving them of their historical and national rights.

Israeli occupation forces raid Nablus-area village, two Palestinians injured

On the other hand in Nablus, two Palestinian citizens were injured on Wednesday by Israeli occupation forces during their raid on the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that two people, aged 17 and 24, were severely beaten by the occupation forces and were transferred to the hospital for treatment.

The head of Burqa village council, Ziad Abu Omar, told Wafa News Agency that large forces of the occupation army stormed into the village this morning, closed the entrances to the village and prevented entry and exit, and deployed in several neighborhoods inside, while confrontations erupted during which the occupation soldiers fired sound and gas bombs.

He added that infantry forces and several military vehicles stormed into the village from several entrances, and turned a house into a military barracks in the middle of the town and raised Israeli flags on it.

They also raided dozens of houses, including his house, and conducted searches and vandalized the contents inside them.

School hours were also delayed as the raid is still ongoing.

Settlers set fire to three Palestinian vehicles in east Al-Quds neighborhood

In another development, the Israeli colonists Wednesday burned three vehicles in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, east of occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Local resident Jawad Burqan reported that a group of colonists stormed into the neighborhood and set fire to his vehicle and two other vehicles in the area.
