Occupation detains 6 Palestinians in the West Bank, attacks fishermen in Gaza

The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday detained six Palestinians in the West Bank.

According to WAFA News Agency, the occupation forces stormed into Jama’een town, south of Nablus and the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, attacked a number of houses and ransacked them. They occupation forces also stormed into several shops and detained five Palestinian young men, including an ex-prisoner, and seized a car that belong to one of them.

The occupation forces also detained a Palestinian near Bab Al-Amoud area in the occupied old city of Al-Quds.

Yesterday, the Israeli forces detained 7 Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank.

Palestinian fishermen come under Israeli attack

Several Gaza fishermen’s boats this morning came under attack by Israeli occupation navy forces.

WAFA reported that the Israeli navy ships encircled the Gaza fishermen sailing in the Khan Yunis coast in the south of the Gaza Strip before opening machinegun fire and flares toward them.

The fishermen had to stop their work and return to the shore to avoid being hit or detained by the Israeli forces.

Earlier, fishermen sailing across the Rafah coast, also in the south of Gaza Strip, came under attack from the Israeli navy.

These attacks aim at tightening a 16-year-long sea, land and air Israeli blockade on Gaza Strip.
