Israeli occupation continues to close Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Al-Quds for the 9th day
The Israeli occupation forces continued on Monday to close Al-Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Al-Quds for the 9th consecutive day, preventing the Palestinians from entering or leaving it while providing protection to the settlers to storm into this area.
WAFA news Agency reported that the occupation forces are heavily deployed in the neighborhood. They established checkpoints particularly in the neighborhood’s western part and provided protection to the settlers to storm into the neighborhood and gather in a headquarter built by member of the Israeli Knesset Itamar Bin Gvir meters away from the house of a Palestinian family.
The occupation’s measures threaten with seizing the neighborhood and displacing its residents by the end of this month.
Al-Shiekh Jarrah neighborhood has been exposed to daily raids by the settlers for more than a week. Tens of the neighborhood’s residents were injured and detained in the raids.
