Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday renewed their attacks against Palestinian fishermen and farmers in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Wafa News Agency stated that the occupation navy opened heavy machine-gun fire on fishermen’s boats off the Al-Sudaniyya area in the northern Gaza Strip, forcing them to return to the shore.
The occupation forces also fired bullets and poison gas bombs at farmers on the eastern outskirts of the Strip, forcing them to leave their lands.
Last Thursday, a Palestinian fisherman was wounded by the occupation navy off the coast of the Strip.
Israeli occupation seizes lands south of Nablus
In another development, the Israeli occupation authorities on Tuesday seized areas of the lands of the town of Hawara, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.
Ghassan Douglas, the official in charge of the settlement resistance file in the northern occupied West Bank, told Wafa News Agency that the occupation seized areas of the town’s land to expand a settlement road. He added that the settlement roads seized hundreds of dunums of Hawara land.
At the beginning of this month, settlers seized swathes of Ain Al-Hilweh lands in the northern Jordan Valley and the Khallet Al-Qat area near the town of Halhul, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.
