Israeli occupation announces new settlement plan in Bethlehem

Today, the Israeli occupation announced a new settlement plan to seize tens of dunums of Palestinian land in the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

The director of the office of  the Segregation Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority in Bethlehem, Hassan Barijia, told Wafa News Agency that the new plan aims at establishing new settlements and paving settlement roads on tens of dunums of Palestinian lands in Al-Metersyah and Khirbet Al-Kabra area in the town of Nahalin and in Wadi Abu Al-Hamra area in Husan village, west of Bethlehem.

Within the framework of its Judaizing and aggressive plans to displace Palestinians, the occupation is escalating settlement operations in the West Bank, ignoring international resolutions, especially Security Council Resolution No. 2334 of 2016, which affirms the illegality of settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories and demands its stop.
