Occupation Announces Formation of Liaison Unit to Enhance Contacts with Terrorists in Syria

OCCUPIED Al-QUDS, (ST)-The Israeli occupation forces have announced the formation a “liaison unit” aiming to strengthen contacts with the terrorist groups in Syria and openly transfer injured terrorists into the occupation hospitals for treatment, according to Israeli media.

The Israeli move comes to carry on the occupation’s uncovered role in fueling the terrorist war waged on Syria and in supporting the terrorists.

The Israeli radio cited the military affairs commentator at the occupation’s “Yedioth Ahronoth” newspaper as stressing that the relation between Israel and what he called “opposition groups” in Syria would guarantee the security of the occupation entity.

“Forming an Israeli liaison unit would consolidate the relation with these groups in different domains,” the commentator said.

A similar Israeli unit had worked in Lebanon before the Israeli occupation withdrew from South Lebanon. It used to carry out various military missions including supervising the militia known then as “South Lebanon Army” which worked in the service of the Israeli occupation, the Israeli radio reported.

Several occupation media outlets have exposed the close relation between Israel and the terrorist organizations operating in Syria, by, for example, shedding light on the meetings of those called Syrian “opposition” figures with the Zionists and on the occupation’s support for the terrorists through providing medical treatment to injured ones in its hospitals.
