Number of victims of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip reaches 19,453 martyrs and more than 52,000 wounded

The number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip for the 73rd day has risen to 19,453 martyrs and 52,286 wounded, amid catastrophic humanitarian and health conditions and warnings of the spread of famine and the continued spread of diseases and epidemics, especially in shelter centers.

“During the past hours, the Israeli occupation committed 16 massacres and genocide crimes in all areas of Gaza Strip, leading to the bombing of Nasser Medical Hospital twice and the death of children which led to the death of 151 and the injury of 313.  A large number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation prevents ambulances from reaching them, leaving the wounded to bleed to death.” The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement on Monday

Regarding the occupation’s violations of the health system in Gaza Strip, the Ministry indicated that the systematic crimes of genocide that the occupation continues to commit led to the martyrdom of 310 medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and paramedics, and the destruction of 102 ambulances, and the bombing of 138 health institutions, and 22 hospitals and 52 medical care centers are out of  service, while the number of detainees rose to 93 including  the directors of hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip  amid tragic detention conditions including torture, starvation, and extreme cold.

The Ministry confirmed that the occupation forces committed a massacre at the specialized surgical building in  “Shifa”  Medical Complex in Gaza, which led to the death of 26 displaced and wounded people, and the injury of a number of those inside.

The ministry added that the occupation forces also bombed a civilian car in front of the hospital gate, which led to the martyrdom of two Palestinians, noting that the occupation stormed Al-Awda Hospital and arrested the sick, the wounded, and healthcare staff.
