Number of the victims of the Israeli ongoing aggression on Gaza climbs to 140

The number of the victims of the Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip, which has been continuous for the sixth consecutive day, has climbed to 140, including 39 children. More than 1000 Palestinians have also been wounded.

WAFA news agency said that the Israeli warplanes targeted  a group of Palestinians in Al-Breij Camp area in central Gaza, killing a Palestinian and causing material damage to Palestinians’ properties and houses.

Maan News Agency reported on Saturday that the Israeli occupation warplanes this dawn struck the Palestinian houses in Al-Shate’ Camp and Tal Al-Hawa areas, to the west of Gaza, as well as in Tallet Qleibo in Jabalya, to the north of the strip and in Al-Breij Camp to the south of the strip, killing at least 10 Palestinians and causing injuries to dozens others, including children. The new deaths raised the number of Palestinian martyrs as a result of the Israeli aggression to 140, the agency said.

Emergency teams face great difficulty in retrieving the martyrs and rescuing the wounded in the light of the heavy bombardment of the occupation’s artillery and warplanes.

In a relevant context, 8 main electrical power lines out of 10 went out of service due to the Israeli shelling on Gaza, threatening with the collapse of vital sectors as a result of power shortage, WAFA reported.

The occupation’s attacks on the electricity networks in Gaza impedes work at the strip’s hospitals, which have already been suffering from fuel shortage, and hinders water supplies for the Palestinians and this will lead to disastrous repercussions.
