Number of Earthquake victims in Turkey has risen to more than 12,000

The number of victims of the devastating earthquake, which struck southern Turkey at dawn last Monday, has risen to more than 12,000.

Anadolu Agency‎ citing the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Center said : 12,873 people have died and 62,937 others have been injured in the quake.

The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Center added that more than 6000 buildings collapsed and more than 13 million people  have been affected by the devastating earthquake.
