Number of Coronavirus infections in Syria climbs to 2703 as new cases detected

DAMASCUS, (ST)- 75 new Coronavirus cases have been detected in Syria, raising the number of infections to 2703, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.

Also, 15 patients have recovered and 3 have died, the ministry added.

614 patients have recovered and 109 have died since the spread of the pandemic in the country.

The first infection with COVID-19 in Syria was confirmed on Mar 22 while the first death was reported on the 29th of the same month.
