Norway: We look forward to working with the new Syrian government

Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide expressed his country’s welcome for the announcement of the formation of the new Syrian government.

 

According to Al-Araby TV, Eide said in a statement today: “We hope that the new government will succeed in meeting the aspirations of the Syrian people, and we look forward to working with it.”

Eide also emphasized that “inclusive governance is essential for Syria’s future, development, and prosperity.”
