On July 21st, Nord Stream Group announced the resumption of the operations of pumping natural gas from Russia to Germany via the “North Stream 1” pipeline after the completion of planned maintenance work for the line.
“The gas is flowing through the pipeline again and 67 million cubic meters per day will be pumped, or about 40 percent of the pipeline’s capacity,” the Group’s spokesman told German Press Agency (dpa).
The pumping of gas through the Northern Stream route was stopped on the 11th of this month due to maintenance work, a gas pipeline between Russia and Germany that was laid across the bottom of the Baltic Sea.
