No Power Dares to Threaten Iran’s Interests in Region, Says Larijani

Bushehr–No power dares to threaten Irans interests in the region, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on Wednesday, according to IRNA.

He made the remarks to a parade of Bushehrprovinces armed forces.

Irans armed forces have a deterrence role in the region and they can guarantee regional security and stability, the speaker added.

He warned the western governments not to violate Iran’s interests and red lines.

Iran has great defensive capabilities and no power dares to attack the Iranian territory, Larijani added.

Larijani arrived in the Persian Gulf province of Bushehr Wednesday morning to attend a ceremony held to commemorate martyrdom of Reis Ali Delvari.

September 3 has been designated as the Day of Combat Against British Colonialism in Iran.

Larijani also visited Bushehr power plant.

Peaceful nuclear technology, Iranˈs right  – Tunisian PM

On the other hand in Beirut, Tunisian Prime Minster Mehdi Jomaa said on Wednesday that Peaceful use of the nuclear technology is Iran’s right,.

He made the remarks in the farewell ceremony of Iranian Ambassador to Tunis PeymanJebeli.

Islamic World is proud of Iran’s scientific and technological progresses in all fields including the peaceful use of nuclear energy, Jomaa added.

He called for expansion of ties between the two countries in all fields particularly the field of economy.

Jebeli for his part welcomed development of relations between the two states.

Iran is ready to transfer its experiences to Muslim states including Tunisia, he said.

Tehran has striven to maximize relations with the African continent.

Iran is an observing member of the African Union (AU) and has shown an active presence in previous AU summit meetings.

The country is considered as one of the AUˈs strategic partners along with India, Japan, China, several South American states and Turkey, while Tehran is also believed to be prioritizing promotion of its economic and political ties with the African states.
