Nisreen Tafesh wins ‘best Arab actress’ award

The Syrian actress Nisreen Tafesh has won the best Arab actress Award for the year 2016 during a ceremony held in Egypt by al-Ahram.

She dedicated the award to Syria, Palestine and Algeria, stressing that the Syrian drama is behind her success as the best Arab actress, according to the official news agency (SANA).

One week ago, the actress was honored within the activities of the 3rd Jordan International Film Festival. She wore a Palestinian dress at the festival.

Nisreen Tafeshis a Syrian actress of Palestinian origin and she was born in 1982 in Aleppo. Her mother is Algerian.
