On September 3rd, the Syrian karate team won nine silver medals and eight bronze medals in the West Asian Championship, which concluded its competitions in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
The bronze medals were won by Rayan Nasr in the under-57 kg category, Hashem Al-Hussein in the under-55 kg individual kata, Mustafa Amshouq in the under-50 kg category, Salwa Al-Dari in the under-57 kg category, Hadeel Abu Raslan in the kata, Nazima Ali Bey in the under-68 kg category, and Kholoud Ali in the under-68 kg category.
While the silver was won by Malika Sheikh Mous, weighing under 53 kg.
