Nine civilians seriously wounded in an attack by Turkish-backed terrorists in Raqqa countryside

RAQQA, (ST)- Nine civilians including a child were seriously wounded after Turkish-backed terrorist groups attacked al-Sukkariya village in Tal Abyad area in the northern countryside of  Raqqa.

Local sources said that a terrorist group affiliated to the so-called Filaq al-Majd (Legion of Glory), backed by the Turkish occupation forces, tried to steal a herd of sheep that belongs to the locals of al- Sukkariyya village in the countryside of the city of Tal Abyad in Raqqa. When the locals discovered this, the terrorists threw bombs and opened machinegun fire on them and ran away.
