News on Reaching Agreement to Liberate All Ishtabraq Kidnapped Persons, Kafraya and al-Foua Locals

DAMASCUS, (ST)- An agreement to liberate all the persons kidnapped by terrorists from Ishtabraq village and thousands of locals from the terrorist-besieged Kafraya and al-Foua towns in Idleb countryside was reached, news obtained by SANA reporter said on Tuesday.

This came more than two months after the liberation of 42 kidnapped persons from the village of Ishtabraq in addition to five human cases from Kafraya and al-Foua within the framework of second stage of an agreement to set Ishtabraq kidnapped persons free and liberate locals trapped in Kafraya and al-Foua.

Terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and its affiliated terrorist groups committed horrible massacre in the village of Ishtabraq village on April 26th, 2015. They killed about 200 civilians and kidnapped tens of others including whole families. The horrible attack caused the displacement of hundreds of locals from the village seeking refuge in safe areas.

 Last April, a two-stage agreement was reached to expel the terrorists from Yarmouk Camp in Damascus to Idleb simultaneously with liberating about 5000 people from the besieged towns of Kafraya and Foua and freeing the abductees from Ishtabraq town. The first stage was implemented.
