New Israeli plan to build 107 new settlement units in Jenin

The Israeli occupation authorities on Tuesday announced a new settlement building plan aiming at establishing 107 settlement units in the West Bank city of Jenin.

WAFA news agency reported that as a result of the new plan 87 dunums of Palestinian land in the towns of Anin and Ya’bud, west of Jenin, will be confiscated by the occupation to expand a settlement already built there.

Last week, the occupation announced several plans to expand some settlements built in occupied Al-Quds and Ramallah cities in the West Bank.

Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns Israel’s last night raid on Jenin

In a relevant context, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli occupation’s raid on a camp in Jenin last night as a result of which a Palestinian teenager called Dirar Al-Kafrayni was martyred and scores of Palestinians were injured, including an elderly.

In a statement, the ministry stressed that the savage practices of the occupation during its raids on Palestinian cities necessitate an urgent international intervention.

The ministry also renewed its call on the international community to force the Israeli occupation to abide by the UN resolutions relating to the Palestinian cause and to stop its crimes and violations against the Palestinians.
