New one day-settlement process launched in Daraa

Concerned authorities on Thursday opened a settlement center only for one day at Qaser Al-Houriyat area in downtown Daraa to provide a new opportunity for the wanted people, who were not able to seize the opportunity during the past period to join the settlement process in Daraa, to settle their legal status.

The move comes within the framework of the all-out settlement process proposed by the Syrian State in Daraa and that covered most of the cities and towns in the province with the aim of restoring security and stability there.

According to SANA reporter, since the early hours of this morning the Qaser Al-Houriyat center started to welcome the citizens who seek settlement and want to settle their legal status.

Hikmat Al-Miqdad, the Mayor of Ghasim town told SANA that the settlement process provides the wanted persons with an opportunity to return to normal life after years of hard times in the province.

Some of the dignitaries in Daraa said that by launching the settlement process, the state gives a chance for the military service deserters to return to their barracks and for the wanted persons to settle their status, return to normal life and participate in rebuilding their homeland.
