New Funds to Finance Micro-Projects in Sweida

Sweida, (ST) – The Director of Development Office in the province of Sweida underlined the creation of five new funds for projects in micro-financing small part of a project “draft” in some towns and cities with a capital of eight million Syrian Pounds.

Eng.  Firas Beini clarified in a statement to local press that the work is going on to form a civil society from the local committees in these areas to conduct fund management and to provide the office with the names of the borrowers.

 

Eng. Beini pointed out that the updated number of funds during the current year for this purpose became 16 funds, noting its importance for the implementation of small projects and to help improve the lives of many of the household level.

These funds are non-profit and work on lending without benefits. They are specialized for productive projects and the second for tutorial to help students at the university.
