New episode in Israeli criminal record

The war currently being waged by Israel against the Gaza Strip is a war against the resistance, which Syria forms its solid base and spearhead.

The war against Gaza ties in with the greater conspiracy targeting the Arab countries. The weak attitude of some Arab regimes towards the aggression that either have kept silent or talked something that is useless nonsense has encouraged Israel to press ahead with its savage aggression against the defenseless Palestinians.

The Arab nation should mobilize all its forces, active parties and popular organizations to quickly and effectively move to create a wide front that is aimed at putting an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Throughout its brutal aggression against the Palestinians, Israel is fueling violence and killing innocent victims while playing the role of the victim trying to turn facts upside down to cover its heinous crimes against the Palestinians. What the Israelis are doing is instigating violence, pretending that they are the victims when in fact they are they are committing a new episode in their savage criminal record. Israel has been pounding the besieged Gaza Strip for nine days, killing at least 200 people and injuring around 1400.

 By pretending to be the victim, the Zionists try to get sympathy from various governments and organizations around the world, as they usually do when they commit carnage against the Palestinians.

Israel continues its brutalities against Palestinian people to maintain its grip on the occupied Palestinian lands and press ahead with its racist colonialist policy. The new Israeli offensive is done in order to perpetuate its ongoing occupation of the Palestinian territories and cover Israel’s racist settlement policy. Israel does not respect its obligations under international human rights regulations as it continues killing Palestinian civilians and destroying their infrastructure in a cold blood.

In parallel with its barbarous offensive against the Palestinians, Israel continues illegal settlement activity in the occupied Palestinian territories, paying no heed to any international law and all calls made by world governments to halt such provocative and illegitimate activity.

Every airstrike that targets a Palestinian target in the Gaza Strip would eventually result in civilian casualties, especially women and children. Israel is escalating its barbaric aggression against the Palestinian people after the Israeli government allowed gangs of settlers to abduct a Palestinian child and burn him alive. Israel followed up this crime with a massacre in which 15 Palestinians were killed during a barbaric air raid on civilians and their properties in occupied Palestinian territories, particularly in Gaza, and by arresting hundreds of innocent Palestinians in a bloodthirsty campaign that violates Israel’s commitments as an occupying force and that flagrantly violates Geneva Conventions, including the Fourth Geneva Convention, as these Israeli crimes constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The Israeli massacres and barbaric practices against the Palestinian people, as well as the unjustified silence of the Security Council and the so-called Arab League over these savage massacres should be condemned. The Security Council and the international community should take action to stop the Israeli aggression which threatens security and peace in the region.
