ALEPPO, (ST)- A new batch of Russian humanitarian aid was distributed on Thursday on the families which had left the eastern districts of Aleppo where fierce fighting with terrorist groups continues.These families left their districts through safe corridors set by the Syrian government.
Spokesman of the Center for Reconciliation at Hmeimim airbase Amir Demlikamov told reporters that the distributed aid consisted of three tons of food, including “canned meat, fish, sugar, flour and cereals.”
He pointed out that part of the aid will be given to the families of Syrian soldiers who martyred in the battles with terrorist organizations in Aleppo.
The city’s residents say they are grateful to the friendly country of Russia for both humanitarian and military aid.
