New Batch of Graduates for the Military Academy

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Under the auspices of President Bashar al-Assad , Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, a ceremony was held yesterday at the Military Academy on the graduation of a new military group , named after martyr Lieutenant Badr Kaddour Deeb

Acting on behalf of President al-Assad, Army Maj.Gen. Khalid Akkari chief of training, referred to the importance of military science education , skills and field experience gained by graduates to cope with requirements of modern warfare and ensure the security of the homeland and the citizen

Maj. Gen. Akkari stressed that the crisis in Syria has strengthened the ability of the Syrian people to foil conspiracies, thanks to the cohesion of the people and the army , noting the heroism of the brave Syrian Army who continue to perform assigned national duties in pursuit of the armed terrorist gangs , more determined to root out terrorism wherever it exists and restore security , stability and tranquility to the homeland .

Following the graduation ceremony, certificates and gifts were distributed on to the top graduates.
