Dozens of displaced families residing in refugee camps in Lebanon returned through the Al-Zamrani crossing in Damascus countryside to their safe areas and villages liberated from terrorism, amid facilitated procedures by the concerned authorities.
Reporters at the Al-Zamrani crossing in the Qalamoun region stated that 311 displaced Syrians arrived from Lebanon, where the concerned authorities registered their personal data and addresses of permanent residence in their villages and towns in a facilitated manner by a committee formed to follow up on their affairs and conditions and transport them to their regions via buses secured for this purpose.
Medical teams from the Damascus Countryside Health Directorate and the Red Crescent branch immediately began following up on the health status of all returnees and providing the necessary services through mobile clinics prepared since the early morning hours in the gathering center.
The Deputy Governor of Damascus Countryside, Jassem Al-Mahmoud, indicated that the concerned authorities have been mobilized to make the necessary preparations to receive the returning displaced persons in a smooth manner and buses have been prepared for this purpose, after completing all necessary procedures. Al-Mahmoud called on all the people of the Damascus countryside governorate who are still in the country of asylum to quickly return to their areas and homes after the return of security and stability.
