The US-backed separatist militia called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has set free a new batch of displaced Syrians, who have been trapped in Al-Hol Camp in Hasaka eastern countryside under catastrophic living conditions due to the lack of basic elements of life.
Local sources told the local “Al-Watan Online” newspaper that 90 displaced Syrian families out of 354 members left the camp on Tuesday, noting that those citizens are from the city and the countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The sources affirmed that all the displaced Syrians resident in the camp want to leave it and return to their houses and original areas of residence.
The SDF militia, who runs the camp, has opened several offices to register the names of the Syrians willing to leave this notorious place after they submit documents confirming that they are true locals of the area that they want to return to, according to “al-Watan”.
The newspaper made it clear that this is the sixth batch of displaced Syrian families which leaves the camp. The fifth batch, which included dozens of Al-Hol camp residents, left on the 16th of this month.
Residents at Al-Hol Camp, particularly children, have been suffering for years from difficult circumstances due to the lack of security, food, water and healthcare.
