Moscow (ST): Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, rejected the West’s accusations against his country about the bombing of a maternity hospital and theater in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol.
Sputnik news agency quoted Nebenzia as saying during a Security Council session: “The accusations against Russia about the bombing of the maternity hospital, the theater and the Sultan Suleiman Mosque in Mariupol, and that it does not allow the displaced to leave, are all false news that has been repeatedly refuted”.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the day before yesterday that members of the extremist Ukrainian “Azov” battalion blew up the dramatic theater building in the city of Mariupol and tried to accuse the Russian forces of this criminal act.
