Naumkin: Russia supports Syria to liberate its occupied lands, including the Golan

Moscow (ST) – President of the Institute of Oriental Studies Professor Vitaly Naumkin affirmed that the foreign occupation of parts of Syrian territories is the reason for everything that is happening in the region.

Naumkin stated that: “The United States occupies areas in the northeast of Syria, while Israel occupies the Golan. We must never forget the necessity of liberating all the occupied Arab lands, including the Golan.”

“Russia’s position is very clear regarding the necessity of liberating the occupied Golan in a way or another, and its better to be done in a diplomatic way”, he added.

Naumkin noted that the US supports Israel with all its ability despite the American criticism.
