NATO frigates detected spying on Russian ships

MOSCOW, (ST): An informed Russian source said that NATO frigates tried to spy on Russian military ships participating in the ongoing exercises in the Mediterranean.

Sputnik quoted the source as saying that “espionage attempts were seized and their perpetrators were exposed. The result was that the Russian naval units placed NATO frigates that tried to spy under their watch.

The training activities carried out by units of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea in the field of combating the naval units of the virtual enemy are continuing, with the participation of 15 warships and more than 30 aircraft of the Russian Air Force.

According to military observers, the participation of a large number of naval vessels in carrying out these training activities sends a warning message from Russia to NATO against carrying out provocative or aggressive activities at its borders.
