National Stand in Sweida to Condemn the Repeated Israeli Attacks on Syria

Sweida (ST) – Popular and official personalities in Sweida on Monday organized a national stand at “Al-Rais Square” in front of the Sweida city council, condemning the repeated Israeli attacks on Syria and the western unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people.

 In a message adressing the people in Sweida and the participants in the stand, the freed captive Sidqi Al-Maqt, from the occupied Syrian Arab Golan, affirmed the support of the Syrian people, with all its components, for their leadership in the confrontation of terrorism, aggression, siege and destruction, pointing out that the repercussions of this devastating earthquake unmasked the West’s “humanitarian claims”.

In his speech during the stand, the Governor of Sweida Bassam Parsek said that the quick and spontaneous humanitarian response by all the Syrians to support and assist the people in the affected provinces proves once again the cohesion of the Syrian people and their authentic belonging.
