National Soccer Team to Hold Training Camp in Iran

DAMASCUS,(ST)-The men’s national soccer team left today for Tehran.

The national team will hold a training camp during which they will play some friendlies against a number of leading Iranian clubs.

The camp is part of the team’s preparation for taking on their Jordanian counterparts on August 15.

The forthcoming match will be held within the Asia qualifiers where Australia is due to host the finals in 2015.

Syria’s group in the qualifiers includes: Oman, Jordan, Singapore.

It is to be noted that the national team lost their opener 0-1 Oman.

Jordan tops the group with three points ahead of Oman on goal difference.

Syria’s line-up includes:Mus’abbalhous,Mahmoud al-Yusuf, Ibrahim Alma, Ahamssalih,hamdimasri, Muayad Ajjan, Yasser Shoushara, Omar Midani, Hussein jawed, Amro Jiniat,Abdul Nasser hasan, Ahmad Klassi, Hamid Mido, Omar Khreibin, Fahd Yusuf, Qusai habib, Zahir Midani, Mahmoud Mawas, Nadim Sabagh, Odai jafal, Sinharib Milki, Raja Rafi’, Ahmad Douni and Abdul Fatah Agha.
