National Seismological Center: 29 Tremors in 24 Hours

The National Seismological Center announced that the number of tremors recorded during the past 24 hours until 8 AM today amounted to 29 weak tremors.

SANA reported that the National Seismological Center announced in a statement that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded 29 tremors less than 4.1 on the Richter scale, 12 tremors in Alexandretta , 5 tremors in  southeast of Latakia in the mainland, 14, 19, and 13 km away from it, ranging between 1.8 and 3.7 –  in addition to a tremor in the north of  Idlib with a distance of 58 km at 18:42 and a magnitude 2.2 .There were also 11 tremors in the Turkish mainland.

The National Seismological Center indicated that during the current situation, the earthquakes would remain weak to moderate, as we have not reached a state of tectonic stability yet.
