National Reconciliation Efforts Continue

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ People ‘s Assembly (PA) head of the National Reconciliation Committee Omar Osei stressed on Monday in a meeting with citizens from several Damascus neighborhoods that the parliament is working closely for settling the issue of detainees , missing persons and the misled in order to get every one involved in the ongoing political process through a comprehensive national dialogue, drawn by the ministerial committee assigned to implement the program set to resolve the political crisis.

Osei noted efforts of the National Reconciliation committee in communicating with all Syrian social spectrums and PA ‘s role in tracking government ‘ work to improve living conditions , ease citizens suffering , address wrong practices and fighting corruption.

Several citizens expressed the hope that such meetings will result in resolving problems encountering citizens and deal with malpractices.

They pointed the importance of following up the situation of displaced families and affected persons by improving their living standard.

On Saturday, committee met with citizens from Rokn eddine, al-Salehieh, and Wadi al-Masharee neighborhoods in Damascus city and countryside.
