National reconciliation, choice and priority

National reconciliation is greatly important during this stage, especially in light of the landslide victories realized by Syrian army in its battle against takfiri terrorism.

Syria will achieve national reconciliation with its social dimensions to find a coherent community that could repel all conspiracies against Syria.

Syria is making remarkable progress in its national reconciliation as a precondition and springboard for defeating takfiri terrorism, rebuilding the country and implementing the political reform program. Following the failed Geneva II conference and the foreign-backed opposition’s show of unwillingness to agree to a future Syria based on democratic, pluralistic principles, the reconciliation process and preparations for the political reform continued, with focus on Syria, rather than on a foreign-imposed solution which calls for foreign intervention in Syria’s internal affairs.

National Reconciliation is the only viable exit from the crisis. The government is working hard to ensure the success of the national reconciliation; remarkable progress has been made in Damascus and the Damascus countryside and other Syrian cities.

The national dialogue is the only viable exit strategy from the ongoing crisis and the national reconciliation is a choice and priority to the Syrian people.

The impact of religious, political and moral reconciliation and the role of clergymen in turning it to reality on the ground are extremely important during this stage. The national reconciliation should be held on right religious basis which prevents enemies from using religion according to their interests.

Syria is strong against the foreign-backed brutal terrorist Takfiri aggression imposed on the country thanks to its peoples’ awareness and nationalism. All heavenly religions and prophets’ massages were based on preserving peoples’ lives and protecting their countries. Those who conspired against the country used the religion for their acts, attacked homeland and Islamic religion at the same time.

The Syrian people have shown resilience in overcoming the crisis through their will and determination and the Syrian people’s unity in their rejection of violence.

The activities of the National Reconciliation Committee are very important and they play role in succeeding the National Dialogue and in implementing initiatives to restore the coherent social fabric of Syria.

The committee is working on the implementation of national programs to strengthen the social bond among Syrians and the committee is determined to continue its work throughout the period that follows the end of the crisis.

The national reconciliation plays a vital role in supporting national unity and healing the wounds caused by the current crisis. The decision to establish a ministry for national reconciliation is very important. All misled Syrians involved in the current events should abandon weapons and preserve Syria’s diversity; all Syrians should reject the campaigns of takfir and canceling the other.

Syrians must preserve their homeland and its Arab identity, and Syria will remain a country for all its sons without discrimination and a beacon of civilization that will withstand all conspiracies.

The Syrian Arab Army’s role is crucial in preserving Syria’s security and unity. What is happening in Syria is a clear and blatant conspiracy by Arab regimes known for their absolute loyalty to the west. Everyone should engage in national dialogue and rebuild a new Syria.
