National Earthquake Center recorded 20 tremors over the past 24 hours
The National Earthquake Center on Saturday announced that 20 tremors of varying intensity, the maximum of which was magnitude 5.5, were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The tremors were recorded as follows: 11 tremors in Liwa Iskenderun ranging between magnitude 1.6 and 3.0 and 4 tremors in Turkey, one of them occurred on the Syrian-Turkish borders with an intensity ranging between magnitude 2.5 and 3.2.
The center also recorded 4 tremors in the Mediterranean ranging between magnitude 2.1 and 5.5 and a tremor 30 km west of Homs with an intensity of magnitude 3.2.
