National Earthquake Center: All aftershocks recorded in the past 24 hours are light and have no potential effect

The National Earthquake Center on Wednesday said that it recorded 42 tremors over the past 24 hours, most of them measure magnitude 2 and 3, while only two tremors measured 4.3 and 4 magnitude on Richter scale.

In a statement on its facebook account, the center said that all these tremors are light aftershocks which have no potential effect, so “there is nothing to worry about”, pointing out that the National Seismic Network Stations continue to follow up and monitor such events and conduct necessary studies.

According to the center, a field teamwork was formed to inspect the impacts of the earthquake and the aftershocks on the buildings and facilities in Aleppo and Lattakia so as to prepare reports and studies on these impacts.
