National Earthquake Center: 8 tremors recorded within the past 24 hours

The National Earthquake Center announced that seismic monitoring stations recorded 8 weak earthquakes in a number of governorates during the past 24 hours.
The center explained in a statementthat the tremors ranged in intensity between magnitude 1.4 and 3 on the Richter scale in areas 22 km, 28 km and 29 km, east of Hama, in Iskenderun district, 44 km northwest of Idlib, 64 northwest of Latakia, and 27 km southwest of Latakia.
The center added: The stations also recorded two tremors, the first was 46 km southeast of Tartous and the second was 43 km south of Tartous near the Syrian-Lebanese border.
