National Earthquake Center: 8 tremors recorded during the past 24 hours

Damascus, (ST) – The National Earthquake Center, during the past 24 hours, recorded 8 tremors.

The center said in a statement, a copy of which SANA received today, that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded, from yesterday evening until 7:13 am today, 8 earthquakes, including 3 in Iskenderun, with intensities ranging between magnitute 2 and 2.7 on the Richter scale and 3 tremors in Turkey,  the strongest of which is at 3.9

The stations also recorded two tremors at the Syrian-Turkish border, the largest of which measured 2.3 on Richter scale.
