National Earthquake Center: 13 tremors recorded during the past 24 hours
The National Earthquake Center announced that 13 tremors were recorded during the past 24 hours.
In a statement to SANA, the center stated that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded until 6:49 am this morning, 13 weak and moderate tremors, 7 tremors in Turkey with a magnitude ranged between 2.5 and 4.4 on the Richter scale, and 2 tremors in Iskenderun (Alexandretta), the highest of which was at magnitude 2.4.
The Center added that the stations also recorded 3 tremors in Hama, two of them in the north with a magnitude of 2.9, and 1 in the east with a magnitude of 2.6, and 1 tremor, 19 km northwest of Homs with a magnitude of 2.1 degree on the Richter scale.
