DAMASCUS, (ST)-The national chess championship (age categories) have wrapped up activities at Barada club in Damascus.

Scores of players representing Damascus and its countryside, Hama, Lattakia and Suwaida took part in the event.

8  years, Birla Mahana, Damascus.

10  years, Leen Razouk, Damascus.

12  years, Fatima Zahraa, Damascus.

It is to be noted that the event was held according to the Swiss system of seven rounds.
