Nasrallah: Victory in Syria Was Achieved by the Syrians Themselves

BEIRUT– Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, said that the real victory in Syria was made primarily by the Syrians themselves, and that Syria’s allies had the honor of participating in it, SANA reported.

In a speech on Monday, Nasrallah said that Syria’s enemies wanted it to become a scene of bloodshed and war, but the Syrian Arab Army, with the support of its allies, foiled the attempts to divide the country and weaken it.

 He said that the Syrian Army is close to securing the capital fully and cleansing Damascus and its countryside of terrorist organizations.

Nasrallah said that the Israeli enemy cannot continue its hostile policy towards Syria and without a response after today, and that the response will take place at the right time and place.

He also described the Arab Gulf states’ position towards the recent Israeli aggression on Syria as shameful and disgraceful.
