Nasrallah: US-backed terrorist project in region will be defeated

Beirut – Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah said on Thursday the war against ISIS, ,Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations is a war against the brutal groups brought by the US and the west to destroy the resistance axis which have understood the reality of this war and took its decision to confront these terrorists, SANA reported.

“The US, Zionist entity and the West have a problem in this region, named the resistance axis; Iran, Syria and the resistance movements,” Nasrallah said in a speech on “the day of Resistance wounded”, affirming that there are men and women, armies and peoples in the region who are determined to drop the US project.”

He added the US is planning to exist in Syria, even though through a political decision via soldiers and officers sent to the north of Syria under the pretext of combating ISIS, stressing that the terrorist organizations are the tools which to be used for the US-Zionist aims to overcome the resistance.

 “Priority in the region is now for fighting terrorism they brought here,” Nasrallah said, warning against what the terrorists market under the veil of Islam.
